Just to liven things up a little, and to get away from all the serious stuff, what is your favorite mention of VH in a movie? Mine is Ready to Rumble with the nuns singing some classic VH. Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Joe Dirt are good also.

ps-is this in the right place or should it be in vh opinion or songs?

I think the "Now take off my Van Halen shirt before you jinx the band and make them break up" line in The Wedding Singer is CLASSIC. Sandler is a big VH fan! Also the Audio tape "EDWARD VAN HALEN" scene in Back to the Future!

All of the Van Halen mentions in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. That movie rules.

Finally bought the Back to the Future DVD Trilogy & not only is there reference to Edward ripping it up in the first BTTF, but in the 2nd one when Fox is in the alternate 1985, they play I Can't Drive 55 when he's walking up to Biff's casino. I know, I know... that song isn't =VH=, but I've heard =VH= play it on tour with the Red Rocker.

I am currently working on adding a "VH in the Movies" section to my website complete with video clips. Look for it in March.

What about Van Halen on the Simpons...

After the disintegration of America's favourite dysfunctional family, Willie Nelson tried to get them to re-unite at an awards show. Lisa commented that the arrangement was just a scam to get them back together. Willie then mentioned that he was also trying to re-unite Van Halen and Sammy Hagar!

Eddie, Mike and Alex were seen sitting across the aisle from Sammy, who was alone in a red suit. Alex wore his trademark sunglasses while Eddie wore a striped jacket.

Oh and when Eddie did a callers voice on Fraiser

    10/28/93 "CALL ME IRRESPONSIBLE" (006) [09/21/93] {18.2}
Anne Flett & Chuck Ranberg / James Burrows

Frasier has an ethical problem: after telling a caller to break up with his girlfriend, Frasier starts dating her.

[end: a series of Frasier's xmas card photos]

    Catherine ......... Amanda Donohoe

    Marco ............. Bruno Kirby
    Hank .............. Eddie Van Halen

You can't even cop an attitude without the music (laughs).

A friend told me there is a VH tune in "Mission to Mars." Pretty sure he said it was DTNA.

    Has anyone seen it?

Also Little Nicky has RWTD. Pretty cool.
