I just heard a live interview with M.A. here in Tampa on Thunder 103.5, our classic rock station.
He is going to be here in Tampa on August 1, when Sammy and Dave take the stage in the Ice Palace. M.A. said he is not an "official" part of the tour--he just joins Sammy when he does his Van Halen set as a guest. He does not join Dave! His exact words about Van Halen were "we are still on kind of a hiatus." Nothing else was said about VH except he answered some questions about the early days of the band and he talked about John Entwistle for a while and the impact of his passing away.

Anyway, just thought I would pass this along.
