The only thing I can think of off hand is DLR Video Compilation where he shows all of his videos.

There are some very brief clips of some other concerts there. So I'm certain that he filmed his concerts, but I have certainly never seen any live albums by DLR. And I have looked!

Speaking of live albums, there must be a sh*t-load of Old Van Halen Live footage that has never seen the light of day!?!?

Why not release it? I just don't get it?

In an interview back in the 80's, Ed had remarked that the vast amount of material from VH will never be released until someone dies... Maybe he actually meant it

Hey L.D.

Do you have the date that your "Do You Like My New Band" is from? The reason I ask is because I thought Dave only played in Japan in 88 and not on the EEAS tour. I'm thinking your disk is the same as the this 88 show?

In Search Of Paradise Lost (Tokyo Japan, October 3rd, 1988 (2 CD's)

I know of another 88 show called "DLR Japan 1998 (Japan, 1988 (2 CD's)" but I do not know the actual date? thanks
If you can't do it in a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans under one lightbulb, you can't do it!

On the 'Thats Life' vid - there's a few live clips from the EEAS shows. I have a show on video tape called 'Cover Story' 1986 and that has a few live clips, and some backstage footage of Dave warming up before the show.

MTV's 'In the words of.." 1988 had loads of live clips of the Skyscraper shows. The Japanese David Lee Roth special sponsored by Toshiba 1988 is all live songs taken from his gig at the Tokyo Dome (but are over-dubbed by the studio recordings!!!!)

The promo for 'Tell the Truth' is mostly live clips taken from the ALAE European tour

So there is footage out there - not in any fans' hands though, unfortunately.
