Lukather put out an album in 1989 which Eddie played bass on a track called Twist the Knife. The riff Lukather is playing is the same riff as Dirty Water dog and the SBL Stompin 8H.

Uhhhh... The "Joy to the World" thing wasn't a joke. It's out next month on Steve's X-mas album.

There's a bootleg from a few years back, "Baked Potato Bar & Grill" where Eddie and Steve trade off wicked solos on "Red House", "Crossroads", and "Manic Depression" and other songs. The quality of this is pretty poor as far as bootlegs go, but the guitar work makes it worth a listen.

On a related note I was reading an old copy of Guitar Magazine that had an interview with Eddie at the time of 5150's release. When the topic turned to Dave ,Eddie mentioned that Dave bought some "tunes" from Lukather for Eat Em' and Smile and Lukather called Eddie and asked if it was OK. Eddie told Lukather he had no problem with it.Unfortunately Eddie didn't say which songs were purchased.
    The song ain't dirty
It's really just the way we sing it

Hi there, newbie here. The one track people seem to have forgotten though they didn't actually play together is Wacko's Beat It. Lukather played the rhythm track.
