She made the mountains sing;words against an icy sky.

The forest had changed.the forest was now our forest. These were the oaks and dark trees of our times;and the wild flowers and the moss that I knew, and tiny birds who darted through the shadows.

    I waited.

Needed someone to love and hold me;that's one of the reasons I was outta place.

    Who was with me?
Where was the weeping coming from?
And then I knew, and then they knew.
We came together, wings folded, heads bowed, listening,we heard the voices of the invisible spirits;it was they-the immortal ones-who wept.
And their crying reached heaven;but all that came from god was the most tranquil light.

    I stood paralyzed.

    Hush.Stillness.

There will be times; You're gonna hear the angels singin';and I heard bells ringin'

Together we drew in,condensed, but still a multitude, surrounding a camp a beautiful humans, but the wailing of the invisible ones hovered over the dying victim, and the lamentations of the humans rose more terrible than I could endure.

    Again I wept.

The man still lay dying, twisting in his last pain on the bed they'd made of grass and flowers;all part of the cycle, god would say.

Woke up in life to find I almost missed it.

    Aint I glad.

    A simple time.

    A simple ryhme.

"One of the reasons I left Sabbath was because Van Halen was blowing us off the stage every night. It was embarrassing." -Ozzy Osbourne

"When I first heard "Runnin' With The Devil" on the radio, I was stunned and found myself dizzy, walking through my high school hallways thinking, "What was THAT?!"
Eddie Van Halen was so innovative and kicked so much ass, and David Lee Roth was for a time indisputably the Greatest Man in America.
If aliens came down and challenged us to a Battle of the Bands to decide the fate of Planet Earth, I would feel very confident putting early Van Halen forward as our champion." -Tom Morello

"A lot of bands mature, which means they get square; they start delivering messages. Hey, you got a message, use Western Union." -DLR
