One of my very favorite Eastwood flicks is his parody of Dirty Harry in City Heat with Burt Reynolds. CLASSIC flick.
Yep, got all of those too. Always really loved Where Eagles Dare and Play Misty For Me. Lol, also liked Firefox and also his Shane remake, Pale Rider.

My all time favorite though is either Good, Bad, Ugly or Unforgiven. I was so happy when he finally got his Oscar for Unforgiven.

And I will always LOVE Gran Torino.

Oh another latter day favorite is his secret service flick with an appropriately creepy Malkovich and the gorgeous Rene Russo, In The Line Of Fire.

He's made so many classic films it's easy to forget some of them, especially when you haven't watched them in a long while.

Been a while since I ranked my top 5 Eastwood flicks. Hmm.

Well, I know that three of them are the Leone trilogy, for sure. As we've already established, you'd have a rough time convincing me there's a better Western series in cinema history. I dig the first two, the third one is the cream, of course.

Ehhh....after that it gets a lot tougher. High Plains Drifter, maybe. The Gauntlet. The first Dirty Harry. Heartbreak Ridge was great. Maybe I can't really choose after Sergio's films, I dunno.

Shit, that reminds me. There's only one Eastwood flick (acting or directing) I haven't seen yet, and it's that last one, The Mule, I didn't get around to seeing it yet, I was busy when it came out, I always see Clint's flicks (since I was old enough) day of open, but I couldn't get to that one, and I haven't streamed it yet. Heard it was great. I gotta watch that sucker tonight.

Whoa, thatís tough, top 5 Eastwood

    If I had too
    5 Gran Torino
    4. The Gauntlet
    3. The Rookie (I know itís not that great of movie but damn I love Eastwood in this
    2. Good Bad and the Ugly (though all of his Westerns are just damn near perfection
    1. Dirty Harry well really Magnum force but just the character overall, probably the most iconic and recognizable and a road map for future cop characters for the next 50 years

Absolute Power was an absolutely fantastic book by David Baldacci. The subsequent movie was pretty good, also.

Oh another great Clint movie, based off a great book, is The Eiger Sanction.

High Plains Drifter is probably his best western, outside of the Leone trilogy and Unforgiven.

HPD is awesome. I might have to go with Josey Wales as his best outside Sergio, though. Pale Rider, as you said, is pretty friggin' great too. Unforgiven is a given.
