I’d be willing to bet doing these brackets as just the single movie these harasses are most known for, Die Hard would likely win

Exactly. Of all these heroes, their respective movies holding out against Die Hard? Unlikely.

Yeah, Die Hard is one of the greatest of all time. No Bond flick is up there with that.
It's just one of those flicks that became what it was, total one-off, the sequels don't really come close to the OG. I remember seeing it onscreen the first time at an old school theater in Pasadena....about ten blocks from Dave's mojo dojo, actually. My girl of the time hated it. I walked out going 'holy shit...that was really David Addison doing all that?"

I love Midnight Run. Never was much of a Bond fan though. Please don't kill me.

I have to say, and with limited things to watch on TV, Iíve decided to start a mission to rewatch all the movies weíve started out with, and their Sequels (for Bond Iím limiting it to Connery for now)

    So far Iíve checked off
    Lethal Weapon
    Predator
    The Abyss
And tonight Iím currently watching Gladiator

Nice! All four of those flicks have that imminent 'rewatchable' cache.

Though I think you ought to have started with the Sergio Leone trilogy and the Dirty Harry series.

Oh youíre not wrong if I had planned this, I just happened to notice the movies Iíve watched the last few nights have been on the list, so after I started gladiator tonight I decided to go through them all, Iíll probably get more organized with it to have a proper order in the next few days keeping in mind what Iíve already watched under quarantine, some will have to move to the back of the list

Ooof. Come on, Broccoli. You could've held out for a better script than that.
Yes. They end up together in space. Just a corny, weird B-sci- fi Bond movie bearing no resemblance to the book.

DH is my favorite action movie...you brought up Raiders which is a very close 2nd for me. I think DH is really a perfect action flick.

LOL...yeah, I gave The Bride some love...I figured she was done after this round. She is pretty badass, no doubt. I don't feel bad about picking her.

I was hoping for and all-Clint final...not sure that's going to happen though.

In terms of straight up red blooded Americana action flicks, Die Hard and Raiders are pretty much the alpha omega.

I love the Bride! Kill Bill is absolutely one of my fave flicks. I wish QT had gotten around to doing the combined mega movie The Whole Bloody Affair, complete with a colorized 88 battle.

I too would love to see a Dirty Harry - Man with No Name final!
