Default The Rolling Stones - The Beatles Power Track Tournament - Round II

    Round Two:

    Shattered vs. Start Me Up
Hey Jude vs. A Day in the Life

Mother's Little Helper vs. 19th Nervous Breakdown
Beast of Burden vs. Paint it Black

Gimme Shelter vs. Jumpin' Jack Flash
Honky Tonk Woman vs. Miss You

She's a Rainbow vs. Midnight Rambler
Brown Sugar vs. Under my Thumb

Uh...is there this less love for the Beatles? Sheesh. I knew I was Stones heavy, but I"m a huge Stones fan. Figured the Beatles would at least rival them. Did I choose the wrong tracks? Seems to me deeper cuts would've just resulted in even more skew. But maybe I'm wrong.

Voting round two over Monday 5/25, at 11 am PST.

Lame I wonít be voting in this.

You needed to pick harder Beatles songs like Helter Skelter, Revolution, Back in the USSR, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, And Your Bird Can Sing, Get Back, Day Tripper, more White Album, stuff like that. You have way too much of the early poppy stuff. Have to remember the audience here. Even though I hate everything about the Stones anyway, some guys on here might have actually thought about it at least. I mean you know most of these guys have no idea what Everybodyís Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey is but thatís a rocking track.

Lol. I did pick Revolution. And I thought I was picking some pretty soft Stones tracks to balance it out. Beast of Burden, for fuckís sake. But all fair points.

If it donít crank, they donít yank.

Yeah, for me, those weren't my favs. Some were. I'm not into the heavy stuff, per say, even though some are great. I like a lot of the lesser known stuff I guess.

Dear Prudence, Glass onion, Bathroom Window, Rocky Raccoon, Me and My Monkey, Night Before, Gonna Lose that girl, Just seen a Face, Run For Your Life, Norwegian Wood, Day Tripper, Taxman, I Want You, Paper back Writer, Rain, Across the Universe, Something....

I was surprised there were so many Beatles fans here when they beat the Stones. Now, I'm surprised they disappeared.

How did "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" not make the cut? Yikes

toughest here was "Honky Tonk Women" vs. "Miss You"

If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.
