Geddy Lee vs. Ray Davies. You didn't pick a winner.

I was supposed to see Cheap Trick live next week with ZZ Top! Before Coronavirus I got tickets. Cheap Trick had a few hits. The Flame, & Surrender, plus Mighty Wings on the Top Gun soundtrack.

I was mostly going to see ZZ Top though.

Because you put Sammy against Jim, he didn’t have a chance to make it past the first round. Same with Pete Gabriel vs Plant. Matches should be evened to make it funner. But you know that already of course.

Also, while Robin is an epic frontman there was no chance in hell he was gonna rival D-ro in that bracket. You should’ve put Dave up against a comparable contemporary, like Tyler.

Lol, seems like Daltrey might be the most underappreciated singer on this site. I'll take his voice over Bowie all day long.

Good point. Still, a big part of me liking a frontman is still their voice and for me his is far superior to Bowie's. Not to mention, in the 70s, Daltrey just looked "cool" up there.

Bowie is just so damn creative. For me, as a partner in a band, I'd want that guy. Straight up singer? Daltrey, hands down, not even close. Not that Bowie is a bad singer, but Daltrey is out of this world.
