    Paulina is hotter. No contest.

I certainly think the Beatles have a good number of legit hard rock tracks.

The only Beatles tune I'd consider hard rock is Helter Skelter.

And as far as Sam vs. Dave solo, the numbers are pretty damn close.

Sammy: Standing Hampton & VOA are Platinum, Three Lock Box & I Never Said Goodbye are Gold.
Dave: Crazy From The Heat, Eat 'Em & Smile & Skyscraper are Platinum, A Little Ain't Enough is Gold.

Those are US sales figures only. Less than a million separates them.

    She certainly wasn't ugly.

The young Joan was pretty damn cute (but tough).

Post-VH, Sammy has had more sustained success than Dave. I attribute this to Sammy's branding and his ability to cultivate a tribe-like following, much as Jimmy Buffett did throughout his career.

But Joan stole a lot from Suzi Quatro.

Suzi was the blueprint for Joan, and Quatro was way ahead of her time.
    She just always looked cool.

I attribute this to them having better songs.

Look at that picture of Suzi.

It's like Joan saw it & said: I NEED TO BE HER!

I liked Joan's music (including The Runaways) a lot more than Quatro's, but
Suzi created that whole image that defined Jett & Cherie Currie.

It was a badass look, plus she had the P-Bass.

Now, Quatro says she was inspired by Mary Weiss of The Shangrila's.

Although he wasn't the lead singer in his original band, does Dave Grohl count?

I'd say for sure he is, even if on the lighter end like Poison, BJ, etc. Not so much YFLM, but I'm referring to the second half of the '80s/early '90s.
