    Exactly.

Oh Yeah is probably one of, if not the most, the weakest CF tracks, which is unfortunate since it's their 'signature' single, and they always play it. It's def a track I skip every time, and don't really dig it live either. Oh Yeah is CF's Jump.

HSAS is so overrated around here. I dig Schon much as the next guy, but that's a project that's sorely dated, it just doesn't stand the test of time. Aaronson's a great studio bassist, and Shrive was good with Santana, but...ehh. Mediocre at best, though Whiter Shade of Pale was decent. Tom Petersson would've been a much better fit for then. Maybe if they'd actually cut a full studio album instead of the half raw thing....

CF's debut blows away Through the Fire. But maybe I'm biased. I'm one of the rare fans that think CF's debut is better than 3 Sam Halen albums.

I think the HSAS album is killer.

Missing You, is still such a great song.

And Schon is an animal all over that album.
He'll tear your face off, then hang on notes....
The entire band had a really cool chemistry.

But after "Top of the Rock," played, you could tell that Sammy
thought it sounded dated or something.

The riff is so good, and Sam sings the shit out of it, but in a really effortless way.
    It just sounds natural.

HSAS & the first Montrose album, i think are great hard rock records.
Graver, Walking Ed, refugee from CVH & proud tone chaser...

I dig the first CF record but I don't hear any tunes as classic as Missing You or Top of The Rock on it.

Yeah, HSAS might have a little dated syndrome, but it still sounds good. It's not so bad I can't enjoy it.

Shrieve, is definitely better than mediocre Squalen.

So is Chad. A lot better than mediocre.

    HSAS was nothing special.

Iím not a fan of the tune, but a huge fan of the idea. I applaud them for putting this together and sending out to the fans. People crap on musicians, yet during times like these they step up and do some cool things

Yep, Montrose destroys CF, too. CF is soooooo overrated on this forum.

Yes, I know you love Journey. Most guys who dig HSAS loved Journey first.

Where I grew up, Journey had 3 good tracks. The rest...was for chicks.

I dunno what youíre doing in this thread. You havenít liked a thing Sam has done since VH. But itís good to see that the next time a redhead bitches about Dave in a Dave thread, youíll totally understand and not say a word about it.

Lol, no need to get offended. I happened to see somebody said CF was better than HSAS and I disagreed. Nothing more. And last I checked, Sam was a big part of HSAS, so it would be like a Redhead going into a Dave thread and saying ALAE is better than EEAS.

Iím not offended. You often lament folks being non supportive of Daveís endeavors, or VH4, or ADKOT, but here you are doing the same thing to Sam. If you have no interest in Sam outside of VH or post VH, then according to your logic, you ought to stay out of said threads.

Personally, I donít think you should. Itís okay for people to be critical of either singerís projects or performances. But you protest too strongly when it comes to Dave. Itís a double standard.

Either way, however...Journey sucks. You only like HSAS because of Schon. Anybody else couldíve been singing in that project.

Radio played the crap out of that record.

Though, I was a Journey fan, that's not what drew me too them. They were just good tunes.
