You know it's just a click away. The time it takes to type a post wondering what the lyrics are could type into Google & find out. There's this other VH website called VHND with all kinds of cool stuff like song info & handwritten lyrics.

LOL. So many of his lyrics I screwed up.
    I thought " sapphire dress "
EWS, I didn't know what was going on. " I seen a mookie looking for a moopy " WTF! Close enough.

I use DLR's "sheepa loppa moonbeam" in the breakdown of Roadhouse Blues (The Doors) when we play it live.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

I havent listened to the whole clip yet but maybe it's the same interview & reprinted into a new Planet Rock magazine. Planet Rock magazine is fairly new they werent around in 2004.

The parrot was Eddie. He's just being politically correct here. It was 2004. He was trying to figure out a way back into the band and had a couple of almosts since 1996.

I thought Dave's parrot Riicky was the noise that the neighbors were complaining about and was notable enough to write about in "Hear About it Later"

    V2
Neighbors gettin crazy about the noise next door
    It's a major violation
    Carried away for sure

I loved Dave's lyrics, the delivery & attitude, but i got a few of them wrong.

When we were in Junior High, ALL OF US, thought the lyric was:

I don't feel retarded (Hot for teacher).

Back in those days, sadly, everyone was saying: RE-TAHD!

So we assumed that was the line.

Many years later, in my twenties:

Ohhhhhhhhh, of course, now i get it!

Interesting... the handwritten lyrics say "save my breath" but the text lyrics say "say my prayers." I think it's the latter and was changed between being penned and recorded. Pretty sure the album version says prayers.
