I don't understand the fascination with his weight by middle aged guys. Yeah its unhealthy but so is a bunch of other vices like drinking, smoking, smoking weed and even obsessing over physical appearances of 29 year old males.

Despite some social media miscues, it doesn't seem he is a dick. Yes he has said some things but think about all the shit we have said on this site over the years. I don't think we can cast the first stone either. Think about how he could have ended up with famous parents and one having serious substance abuse problems. He shouldn't have to pay for his fathers sins either

    Ok off my soap box

    Obsessed? No.

But when I see a picture of a fat person, I don't think it is out of the realm of reasonableness to say "holy shit, Wolf has packed on the pounds".

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Someone just commented on EVH's Instafeed about it, said to Wolf "Takes about as long as a VH album takes to drop" to which he replied "LOL runs in the family."

Uh....to be fair, when Dad first launched, he dropped six albums in six years. Just sayin'. Still don't care. But it does seem he's a little Millennial entitled.

    Little?

It's to be expected, but he's more than a little entitled.

I meant less the money factor, but more about the possible detachment from reality.

And here's where the WVH fans will remind us that record industries were different back then, it's a new digital age of album-less music, yada yada yada, YouTube artists and blah blah blah. Nonetheless...I know of no artists who succeed without gigging. Barring all the guys we've never heard of, of course.

We were truly lucky to come of age in an era where so many great bands/artists released albums and toured almost every single year.

It's never been easier to record quality music and release it.

There is absolutely no excuse to not put music out if you are a musician...none.

When I see a young person who is overweight, my first thought is how did they get there and secondly, they canít feel comfortable with that extra weight. The older you get, the harder it is to lose. And with most individuals who are overweight, all of the usual medical numbers start to come into play; bp, cholesterol, glucose, etc.

Personally, I donít care what he looks like as long as heís healthy. Health is everything.

If there was a reason for the delay of the album, could be one of many things. I know people will rag on him. Thatís their choice. I just want to hear the new music.

Health makes no difference if a person is a decent human being or not.

I would rather be friends with a 300lb people who are decent human beings than a bunch of 150lb guys who act like Clint from Dazed and Confused. We should be more concerned with peoples character than their physical appearance. I guess that is just society today

Not saying you should condone a person for being out of shape, but before doing so, check out their character.

Health makes all the difference to the individual and to those around them. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to take care of yourself regardless if you are nice or not.

If Wolfgang suddenly appeared on social media physically transformed with a buff physique, he would be getting the same comments about his outward appearance.

Body shape has nothing to do with demeanor. At least to me.
