I get your point there. But he posted on Instagram. A social media platform that has become the “photo album” for a new generation.

Maybe he just posted those for himself and his friends?

I posted a picture of some bitchin’ pancakes I made the other day. Why?

Because I felt like it and they looked and tasted fuckin’ awesome. No other reason.

I want to hear Wolfs album. I think it'll be awesome. This said, until Ed gets better or takes a turn for the worse, I doubt it'll ever be heard. Wolf is spending time w/ his dad - period. Nothing wrong with that.

While I never want Ed to die, reality is, at some point it'll happen (it'll happen to all of us FYI); once that happens, I suspect Wolf will start going through the catalogs of music and release a shit load of VH unreleased music as a tribute to his father.
Winners come and go; legends are forever.

But no one expects to eat them.

What Wolf was doing, was posting pics of his catered meal, then canceling breakfast.

Wolf is a huge fan of TOOL. Lol, those guys are all in their 50s at least. I know Danny Carey is 58.

How do you know? Maybe there’s somebody out there going, “Why are you posting pictures of those pancakes and not making any for us?”

And even if people did they’d still be shit out of luck because they were just for me and whoever I wanted to share them.

Fan’s assumptions of what Wolf was doing by posting those videos doesn’t mean those were his intentions.

He’s could have posted those clips of the process because that was a part of his life at the moment.

It might not have been, “Hey. Get ready. This album is going to be for you guys to buy soon.”

I think the most likely scenario was that Wolf's record would have been released just prior to the potential CVH reunion that was rumored last summer. This would have given Wolf maximum exposure and perhaps he would have been the opener if that reunion actually was in the works before Ed apparently couldn't do it. Perhaps that's still a possibility in the relatively near future. If he just randomly dropped it with no VH activity going on, it would be the proverbial tree falls in the woods thing. There's enough prior speculation and hints over the past 18 months that this is what may have happened. Of course it could be something completely different too!

Actually that's not true. Al was doing A LOT of interviews in the old days. I've had lengthy conversations with him myself before. He turned silent post VHIV, except for that black and white "downtown sessions" thing where Dave interviewed them.

He didnt do that many interviews. But, yes, it was typically he and Dave doing the radio interviews together. However, he still never, or rarely, put his personal life out there and outside of VH promotion, he's barely been seen. My point is he's never been out there as much as say, Tommy Lee or Lars or a Mike Portnoy. He and Neil Peart were similar in that regard. Though Alex even moreso in that he has rarely ever showed up at drum clinics, let alone played at them, and never put out any instructional videos. I don't think either of them ever guested on anyone else's records.

He's going for Boston debut kinda good.

The early reviews say: Cross Thriller with Boston's debut, then add a pinch of Appetite for Destruction,
with a slight whiff of Master of Puppets...

I think my debut album will come out first.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!
