Tough question! Went with '85 by a hair over the Sammys. Would do just about anything to hear the '99s too.

I think there is a better chance of groupie porn including the band members to be released than anything from 5150.

I was hoping all things related to III were part of the 2008 Universal fire.

thought I was a VH geek among geeks, but I've never heard of anything in this poll. they recorded stuff in 85 with Dave? the unreleased album was called Love Again? don't recpgnise that Sammy stuff either

if there's audio of vh with dlr in the studio in 85, then obviously that.

"Love again" has to be THE stupidest title known to man.

I'll never understand what the deal was with Eddie, around that time.
All those cool song titles must have been Dave's idea.

One of my least favorite VH tunes. Very stale.

And I thought someone who heard the song long ago once said "Between Us Two" was like a combination "Dreams" and "Unchained?" How do you get that from the music to YTTD?

Anyways that combo sounds too good to be true.

Count me in for Van Cherone 2.0. There were a lot of awesome ideas in the songs on III. I think the second album would have been, or better is, more coherent with the band members feeling more comfortable after touring together.

(then again, giving it a second thought, pressure from Warner might have been quite big to produce a hit album...)

The track listing for the second Cherone outing, sounded pretty decent:

    1. Love again

    2. You'll find love (if you keep looking)

    3. Don't be afraid (of love)

    4. I told you not to tell me (what love can do)

    5. Love Gun (Kiss cover)
