Way back when, I too was all spazzed out, just like Son of Slash above, wanking away on Edward and Yngwie chops constantly, so my buddies started calling me Ludwig von Scudnik, LOL!

BTW, speaking of Rocktron, I've been messing with my (new, LOL!) Taboo Twin, from like the '96 NAMM show, LOL!

Dear God, that kid makes Jacob Deraps look like a beginner!

The pure aggression, speed, perfect mutes & super sick/wide vibrato....

Players are evolving at such a rapid rate, it's almost freakish.

And look at his picking hand, almost Friedman esque, but slightly modified.

    I'm completely blown away.

I've never seen anyone play with that sort of picking style. Very interesting.

Yeah heís good. I donít know, that kind of wankery just doesnít do it for me anymore. Just needs the top hat to complete the Slash look.

Btw the laughing clown on the commentary who said he sounds like Zakk Wylde is a moron.

He didnt say he sounds like Zakk Wylde, he said its like Zakk and EVH had a baby which is fair enough as the stuff he is playing at the time it was said kind of sounds like that...

He has an amazing technique. I found myself watching his right hand more than his left.

    Blech.

    I lasted about a minute.

Just a bunch of noise in my opinion and I've got my stuff on here that people are welcome to call garbage as well.

Never liked that kind of guitar playing and I never will.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

If you thought that sounded like Ed I don't know what to tell you.

It sounded like some kid with an exaggerated vibrato hitting pinch harmonics and trying to play Van Halen.

I've heard plenty better on the Tube. SATSUMA comes to mind.

Just not the kind of player I enjoy at all guys. Donít know what to tell you. I love good shredding, I donít like shredding like that. Heís a wanker. To me thereís a difference. I just donít get blown away by technique.

Yeah I know exactly why he called him Zakk Wylde. Still stupid.

Well, that's not what I said. I still believe nobody has ever truly duplicated Ed. That doesn't mean I don't think the kid is blazing. I certainly wish there were more bands out there today who had guitar players playing like this instead of shit bands like 21 Pilots, Greta Van Suck, and Imagine Dragons being hailed as the best rock has to offer.

Yes, SATSUMA is awesome, agreed. Doug Steele is another guy that comes to mind.

Oh, I agree, but to me this kid isn't the vessel at this time.

He's a stereotype of the guitar playing that gets maligned and that Ed gets lumped in with.

I think Deraps is a much better player.

I got that link from Doug Steele aka John Sanders Facebook. He loves the kid, always linking to his vids.

The kid has some vids playing all sorts of covers, mostly VH, Ozz, Ratt, Dokken.
