    "Van Halen is dead"

    "Van Halen isn't newsworthy"

Didn't people say that of Boston and Kiss?

Didn't Boston have a 5 or 6 year hiatus before launching their blockbuster "Third Stage"?

    And Kiss? The Alive Tour?

    Need I say more?

    Yep.

    "Van Halen isn't newsworthy"

According to their own alleged webmaster.

Didn't people say that of Boston and Kiss?

And they still do. Kiss just isn't getting the message.

Didn't Boston have a 5 or 6 year hiatus before launching their blockbuster "Third Stage"?

8 years after "Don't Look Back", technically. Allowing for a tour and a break afterwards, the delay was about 6 years. The problem is that they topped themselves. Since 1986, Boston fans have been waiting for the followup. And no, the Tom Scholz version of VDIII he released in 1994 does NOT count.

    And Kiss? The Alive Tour?

    Need I say more?

The first reunion tour was fine, but it should have ended there, especially after Psycho Circus tanked. Now those pathetic greedy ass fucks are on stage with roadies pretending to be band members

    Welcome back, Van HALEN!!!!

...It's the BAND and Dave is really the cat that can front VH. He sang his ASS off and was really cool. No cheese here guys, this is filet Mignon! - Steve Lukather's comment after witnessing a Van HALEN 2007 rehearsal

Alright...Everyone likes to say that Van Halen has become irrelevant. Can you tell me why E! Online, AP, BBC, MTV, Rolling Stone, NY Post, Pollstar, Reuters, and CDNOW/Allstar picked up on the Dave/Sammy gig? And you think that Van Halen would have less of an impact, or is less relevant than Sammy Hagar?

    And Kiss? The Alive Tour?

</font>[/QUOTE]What does greed have to do with anything?

The bottom line is that the first tour was wildly successful. Van Halen will have like, or greater, success if and when they get their shit together.

Psycho Circus has to be the biggest piece of shit I've ever heard besides VDIII. That WAS the Kiss equivalent to VDIII (came out only a few months before VDIII, too), only more harsh. I don't know what they were thinking on that one, and I don't even want to know.

Boston is a joke. They've been living off that debut album their whole careers. Actually, it's just Tom Scholz who's living off it, as he wrote all the music. Is that "new album" really coming out this year? I haven't heard anything about it since the Super Bowl.

There's not going to be another VH album. It's not like other bands where they're just taking their grand old time. Eddie Van Halen is too greedy and controlling to do it right, meaning work with Dave, come full circle, go out as heroes, and rock the world again. This is why I think there's a better chance for a fourth singer than Dave. Not that it'd sell over 50,000 copies though.

You obviously have not listened to "Theater of Pain" by Motley Crue...now that's a piece of shit...or any nu metal band...or NSYNC...or Matchbox Twenty...or this new balladeer shit like Pete Yorn...f*ckin' music today sucks...I got out of the music business 'cause I didn't have the passion anymore...we need some metal...give me a new Maiden album...
