Once she finds out who Van Halen is, I'd be curious to know if Billie Eilish finds Van Hagar more mature than Roth Halen.

Let's cherry pick some more... Which is more "mature" and "evolved" lyrically?

    Hello baby
    Yeah, yeah wow
    Wow
    Dig it, wow
U.S. prime, grade A stamped, guaranteed
Grease it up and turn on the heat
You gotta' throw it down and roll it over once, maybe twice
And chow down, and down and down and down
'Cause she's good enough, good enough to
    Me, I can't get enough, I can't get enough
    When it's good enough to....

    OR...….

Slip n' slide, push it in
    Bitch sure got the rhythm
I'm holding back, yeah, I got control
    Don't draw the line
Honey, I ain't through with you
The harder the better (let's do it 'til)
    We're black and blue
Well, you never know when love will come
Gotta get it while you got it
A little bit of everything, even when it hurts....

    OR....

    All you bad, bad boys
Call her up on the spank line, uh
Yeah, all you bad, bad boys
Call her up on the spank line, uh, whoa, oh
Three dollars, first minute, gosh, man
    After that, cost ya four
And she be up for negotiations, mmm hmm
If you call back for more, oh oh oh ah

Straight on up to her lunch pail...

    RACK-A-WHAT??? WELL GIMME SUMMA THAT!!!!!

I sure do love my baby's Poundcake....

That's whats goin' down...on the spank line...

Even the lyrics to Cabo Wabo, sound like they were stolen from one of
those mass market romance novels (I wanna make love in the sand!!!!)

I actually like that tune, for some odd reason.

That one & also "One of us" by Joan "Ozzy" Osborne.

Love me some Joan Osborne and
“What I Am” was great. Good guitar work too.

I actually dug "Good Enough" when it came out. I was 14 and i dont think teens in the 80s were looking for lyrical maturity. One pussy song out of a whole record was cool back then. You couldn't write something like that now of course.

But 5150 had some more serious songs, and the subject matters, as a whole, were varied.

Oh yeah, with that envelope filter effect during the solo.

I heard that record a lot, there were other semi hits on it, which i cannot
    remember the names of.

It DID have good songs, no doubt.

And, for the record, i love both Good Enough AND Black & Blue.
