Ooh, that Salamanca's pretty close to The Burgh. Might be able to catch 3 with Cleveland. Nice!

These are pretty big sheds they are playing.

Nah, these multi-band 80's nostalgia double and triple bills sell like hotcakes. It's - of course - a wise business move on Sam's part.

People will go just to get the full 80's treatment.

If Def Leppard/Night Ranger can sell out outdoor venues, Hagar/Whitesnake/Night Ranger sure as shit can.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

It's an interesting question. All three of them have been through Boston multiple times in the past couple of years. The Circle and Night Ranger just played a venue last May that's 1/4 the size of where they're going this year. Not sold out.

Whitesnake played that same 5k seat venue a year and a half ago opening for Foreigner and headlined an even smaller one a few years ago. Don't believe sold out.

Night Ranger played a couple hundred seat theater up here a little over a year ago. Not sold out.

So really not seeing it how they're going to do this. If you combine all of those separate shows, and even disregard those like me who went to all of them, it's still just a half-full Xfinity Center...and that's not even considering the casual fans who went and have no interest in going again.

The only reason I'll go is that we're getting to where any of these may be the last chance I get. Otherwise, I'd just go see Night Ranger play a full set in a tiny venue in March.

Closest one to me is a 12 hour drive. So a 12 hour drive it is.

Yeah, I really had no interest in those tours after 2004. Kind of soured me on the VH live experience.
Plus, they never came here, hell Hagar has only come through here once since then.

Let me clarify, I had purchased tickets to 2007 but we were cancelled as well. After that, they haven't come back.

Same amphitheater they're coming to this year, Foreigner/Whitesnake/Jason Bonham had it pretty packed last year. A lot more packed than VH/KWS had the same place in 2015.

I don't think it'll be sold out, but it'll be pretty full.

At this point, I think the night of the week the show is on matters a lot to the fans of these old bands.

Weekday shows are probably going to have some empty spots. Weekend shows will be pretty full.

Just the nature of the beast these days.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

The ticket prices are much higher than I thought- $330+fees/taxes for pit and still pretty pricey as you move back. I guess there is a lot of mouths to feed. I will wait it out and snag a pair near the show date when people remember they have their kids AAA Super Selects Under 8 All-star team tryouts and have to sell their tickets.

I saw a show in the Spring and it was just OK to ME. I agree with some others that a "better" guitarist would improve the show a little. You can't question Sam's loyalty, that is for sure.

Was at that show in Boston last May. Sammy wore my Boston University hockey jersey. I've had that jersey since 1996 and have been waiting that long to get it signed. And yes, it was not sold out. Not nearly.

I purchased tickets for Mansfield this morning. I opted for the $70 seats.

Otherwise, I'd just go see Night Ranger play a full set in a tiny venue in March.
I'm thinking of going to that NR show at Six String too.

Got my tickets for the Cincinnati show this morning: Section 100, Row N, $59.50 each.
