I love that, think he did it on purpose.
Wasn't there some story about Eddie and Randy running into each other in 1981 at a record store in LA, Randy was buying Fair Warning, and Eddie was buying Diary? Just visualizing that completely blows my mind. The only thing cooler would be if Lynch was working at the record store....

One of my fave solo's is "Lightnin' strikes again," especially with that "slid into"
    opening note.

And "Turn on the action" is up there with I'm the one & HFT, as far as boogie riffs go.
That is THE most sinister sounding boogie riff ever, and it's just a great one.
Lynch was/is a monster. "The Hunter" is prob my favorite Dokken solo of his - I think his shit on the first few Lynch Mob albums is better than anything he did with Don though....

    That would be hilarious!

Lynch: You guys gonna stare at each other, or buy the records?

Edward: (reaching in his pocket) Relax man, i'm gonna pay...ah, fuck...
Randy, can you loan me a few bucks to buy your album?

    Randy: Sorry, i'm broke, man.

Lynch: (leaning over the counter) Bullshit. You lived at home, and gave expensive
guitar lessons to five hundred kids a day, at your mom's music school.

Lynch: Clarence, get out here! We need to re-stock the Boston section.

CC DeVille (a very young, CC DEVille): I'm on it, boss...you can count on me...
Boston, yes...Boston...restock, yes....Wait, what section is that?!!

    Lynch, Edward, Randy: B!!!!!!!!!!

(cue laugh track, and a teenaged CC tripping over a vinyl cart, as he fumbles towards the section)
Graver, Walking Ed, refugee from CVH & proud tone chaser...

I'd love to hear Billy Eyelash attempt the guitar on this …
