Stadiums? There's no way they will sell out stadiums unless over half of the seating area is covered with tarp.

I wouldn't go see Crue/Def Leppard/Poison if they were playing for free in the parking lot of the White Castle down the street from my house.

I heard they where offered $150 million for the tour ... Not sure what a breakdown would be per member but shit 45-60 dates during summer for maybe $25mil per member a complete no brainer they would do it ...

Unbelievable that people would spend that kind of money to see this mess.

You have to give Mick Mars credit for playing with ankylosing spondyliti. A neighbor has this disease and it’s like watching someone turn into stone.

Also, unless Vince gets in better shape between now and then, I don’t see him making it through 45 shows during the summer heat. He looks painful.

They better have paramedics standing by for Vince. Elliot has not been able to sing since about 2005. Some decent guitarists but even if I could I wouldn't go. Seen um all long ago.

Money talks. People change their minds. So the Crue are coming back with Poison and Def Leopard? Cool. There's a lot of great tunes from my era wrapped up in those three bands.

At least they are still willing to go out tbere and do it. Three pretty fan friendly acts from the hard rock scene that I happen to dig. Great musicians that often get slagged because of their interviews or hair metal tags, yet the songs and the fans are the true testament to their longevity.
    Yep.

There is also a rumor that Live Nation is demanding Vince Neil lose 40 pounds for the tour.

If Def Lep / Journey can do some stadiums these 3 bands together will be able to do some as well. Def Lep had a spike in popularity after the rock hall induction last year and motley did as well after the Netflix movie.

Like it or not, you're looking at about 4 hours of songs that are played on classic rock radio daily around the country right next to the VH catalog.

They did very few stadiums on that tour. That was a 54 date tour and they had 10 crowds of over 30,000. They can book stadiums if they want but I can't imagine they'll sell out a single one unless they are tarping over the entire upper level and at that point they may want to just play arenas.

There are different sized stadiums as well, just like arenas.

Doesn't necessarily mean they plan on playing the Meadowlands.

Exactly right, except situations change and life changes. Never as black and white as you want it to be. Who here hasn’t changed there mind? And how many things changed for Dave to be considered that was unimaginable when Al said that.

Christ, some people here tear apart anyone who said something they believed it was true when said only to have circumstances change. People change, situations change, positions soften. A million things can happen that you could never foresee when statements like that are made. Did anyone believe Dave would willingly become a team player and understand he could never step back in and run the show?!?! Not a chance any of them believed that.

The Crue tried to hard with their stunt. 100% a PR move. Maybe they thought Mick wouldn’t be around for any more touring. Who knows, except it was a cheesy stunt, Tommy Lee likely thought up like one of his many genius ideas. Anything to sell tickets and draw attention. Fucking wife beater needs To go back in the hole he crawled out from. imo.
