I'll definitely be interested in some of those guys BA/OBP will be this year.

I will say, I don't how the other team didn't know about this stuff. base coaches have usually been in the league a million years..them hearing banging garbage cans right before a pitch doesn't raise a red flag? Bring it up to the ump or earhole the batter
    Dealing with it.

Teams did go to the league about them potentially cheating. The A's and Indians being two that thought they were doing shady shit. Just today, Royals player Whit Merrifield says players have been suspicious for a few years, prior to Mike Fiers coming forward. It had to be a former player on the team, or a current member( yeah right), otherwise it just looks like you're a whiny crybaby without any proof.

As far as earholing the batter...some form of baseball justice is coming, no matter what Rob Manfred says about retaliation relative to this scandal.

No doubt there will be some retaliation.

Just heard about some interview with Bob Costas who said there were at least EIGHT other MLB teams who had some sort of sign stealing system set up similar to the Astros. Why aren't they all unearthed too? Just let the Astros stay front and center and keep taking the hits for the SignGate. Like Rich Eisen said - this sign stealing is the ultimate PED. BTW Astros owner said yesterday he should not be held responsible for the actions of some of his employees. Fuck these clowns and MLB

The 2017 and 2018 World Series titles should simply be vacated. They fucking cheated, blatantly. Just look at the team home and away splits and you can tell they fucking cheated.

Everybody is making seven or eight figure incomes to play a kid's game, and they can't even do that without cheating?

    Fuck them.

I don't think its simply black and white. For example Houston obviously was cheating at a certain level. Maybe a few more like Boston were very close to that. Then you have other teams that are doing more conventional tricks to steal signs. Ones that have been going on for decades. That's another level and while technically still cheating, its more akin to corking bats, using spit balls, etc. Take the NBA. Obviously the refs can help dictate the game based on how star players operate with one set of officiating and the rest of the league at another. Lebron, Steph, Giannis, all the way back to Jordan and others before them get preferential treatment. Is it right? No but it has happened. Now lets say if you had a situation where Tim Donahue was right in where Refs are rigging games. Obviously that is at a different level. Now of course refs may be trying to fix a game but the team they want to win can't hit a shot. Just like a player may know a slider is coming on a 3-2 count. He still has to hit it but his team has an advantage that goes beyond what is accepted.

Then again I am a bit biased against Houston because they obviously benefited from their cheating when they played the Indians in 2018. Everybody knew something was up because they had an uncanny ability of knowing what was being pitched. You had to watch it to see it. It wasn't simply stealing a sign here or there. Not saying they wouldn't have won the series against them in a fair matchup but it sure helped them win the series 3-0

Dodger OF Cody Bellinger is not accepting any fake apologies from the Astros. He went scorched earth on their pathetic apologies.....lol...

On Altuve not wanting jersey ripped: “I don’t know what human hits a walk-off HR against Aroldis Chapman to send your team to the WS,” Bellinger said, “and 1, has the thought to say, ‘Don’t rip my jersey off.’ But 2, go into the tunnel, change your shirt, and then come out ...”

Cody Bellinger, when asked if he believes the Astros were cheating in 2018 and ‘19, as well: “A hundred percent. I don’t know why they would stop.”

Bellinger said he and others wondered how the Astros were so tough to beat at home. “And when it came out that they were doing this, it was just obvious.”

    In other baseball news.....

I'm not really for any proposed/talked about playoff format changes. I've said for years that basketball is the ultimate participation(trophy) league when it comes to their playoff format, and rewarding teams for mediocrity. Thirty teams in the league, and sixteen of them make the playoffs? Get the fuck outta here with that shit.

Having said that....I'm not going to take a hardline stance against any changes, because quite frankly, the bottom line is the bottom line. That is what any change will be about.

I remember when the NHL was 21 teams and 16 of them made the playoffs! I’m just glad I’m on the downward slope of life with the direction MLB has been headed. They don’t care what I think anyway.

    He wishes.

The Astros are one of the most unlikable group of dickheads ever. Arrogant and obnoxious. Still.

I love that Bellinger is giving them shit and they canít handle it.

As far as Iím concerned anyone who was on that team and allowed the cheating to continue and did nothing about it is culpable. So fuck Jose Altuve. Runt.

And the one thing we know is they did not win the World Series fair and square, so he can just stop that idiocy right now. You can even make the case they had no business being in the World Series.
