I respect Starks, he had limited talent but worked his ass up from the CBA when few really did that back then. He got the most out of what he had and played hard always. But omg Houston, Ewing deserved an award for not killing Starks. Ewing had zero talent, Starks, Mason CBA guys, McDaniel was breaking down by then, Oakley solid role player, and not much else especially at point guard and he would battle every year. I mean mother fucking Charles Smith, bitch please

Derek Harper drove me nuts back then. If he hit his first shot it meant he was shooting non stop. I always prayed he clanked his first jumper.

Wrapped up The Last Dance last night. Really enjoyed it. GOAT forever.

This is a nice follow-up,, the rest of the story, so to speak.

I still have that same hatred for the Lakers now, along with ANY team LeDouche is a part of, which is of course now the Lakers lol.

Man, MJ was averaging 25/5/5 on one bad knee when he came back, until he finally had to sit because of it. 39-40 yrs old on one bad wheel and he was still probably a top 10-15 player in the Association. Kids wanna argue LeDouche as the GOAT? GTFO with that shit.

It never gets old listening to the sportscaster's call when he hit that game winner in Phoenix for the Wizards. "He did it AGAIN! He did it AGAIN! He did it AGAIN!"

I hated Larry Bird and the Celtics with a passion back in the 80s. That being said, I can now appreciate how great Larry Bird and those Celtics teams were. It would have been fun to see MJ and those Bulls' championship teams of the 90s compete against those Lakers' and Celtics' teams of the 80s. Throw in that 83 Sixers' team, also.

The hatred of Lebron on this site is laughable. The dude is one of the best all around and most unselfish players to ever walk the earth. Did he make a mistake and a fool of himself with "The Decision" in the summer of 2010? Obviously. Has the guy ever been in trouble off the court? No. I hated him and the Heat, like probably everybody out of Miami did back then. However, when we went back to Cleveland in 2014, I couldn't help but root for him. This will likely go down as the single most clutch defensive play in the history of basketball …

The fact that it came against the Warriors (who had gone 73-9 in the regular season and then became the only team in NBA Finals' history to blow a 3-1 lead) made it even sweeter.

That's a pure hustle play, if you can't appreciate that, you don't appreciate sports.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Lmao, nobody said LeDouche isnt an all time great. He makes my all time starting 5, but that has nothing to do with whether I actually like him or like to watch him play. He's not as bad now that he's getting older and conserving himself, but for years it was just stupid watching him lower his shoulder and barrel over everybody on his way to the hole time and time again.

When the chips are down and I want to win the game, though, I'd sub Bird in for him at forward. Sue me.

Jordan was pretty blech when he was with the Wizards. Kobe lit him up for 55 and it was kinda sad. He was a shell of himself and nowhere near a top 10 player in the league. Heís was on a shitty team, he was the only player who could score. Yeah he might have had a few moments where he did some cool things and a few streaks, but he was old and slow. Saying he was a top player with the Wizards is like me saying Kobe was a top player his last year because he scored 60 points his last game.

Seriously getting excited over a win against the horrible Suns? Wow. I got to tell you man you are an amazing Jordan homer.

Jordan never should have come out of retirement to play for the Wizards. That free throw line jumper in game 6 against the Jazz in 1998 was the perfect storybook ending to his legendary career. I guess he just got bored. It happens. A lot.

Easy for a non hardcore fan to say. I loved getting to see him play again, and especially seeing him at that age playing as well he did. Too bad about the bad knee, but oh well, we all get old.

Lol, Brett, maybe brush up on your reading comprehension. Jordan was one of the few in the league averaging 25/5/5 BEFORE the knee really gave way. Kobe was averaging, what, 16-17 on 32% shooting or something close to that? Give me a fucking break with that comp. Funny, coming from one of the ultimate Laker Homers.

Lol, oh and I remember how you guys were creaming yourselves over Kobe's last game, so you can stop it with the holier than though attitude about the "homer" crap. Hypocrites.

I'm glad he played for the Wizards, 'cause that's when I finally got to see him play in person, and the dude had worked himself back into game shape and was killing it before his injury in first year w the Wiz.

JD, you'll appreciate this. A very good summary of his time as a Wizard. Jordan was underrated as a Wizard. Brett should also watch this.
