Ok, I'd agree it's not what the whole song is about, but it's definitely part of it lol.
That's not a bad thing. I like Poundcake. Definitely loved it when I was 17 and it came out towards the end of my junior year and my friends and I were trying to figure out what Ed was doing on the intro before the video debuted. Admittedly, like much of that era, it hasnt aged as well for me.Last edited by JUNGLE DRUMMER; 09.23.19 at 03:19 PM.

For the record, those were my favorite tours. I saw VH with Sam on every tour multiple times.

Never understood the multiple times in one tour thing. Once, twice, sure. More than that always seemed redundant. I’ve never seen VH more than twice on any tour, and the only times I’ve seen em twice on the same tour were all post millennium, largely because the logic seemed to be “this’ll be the last time Ed goes out.” ‘04, ‘07, and ‘15 were the only tours I saw a second date.
Technically UsFest capped the Sheep tour and MOR launched the OU812 tour, but I don’t count those clusterfuck festivals as a real tour stop.

I just always liked being in the same building or vicinity as Edward the Great.

It was just another reason to party.
Caught Scorpions on the same tour -Blackout- but about a year apart. Summer of '82 after getting out of highschool, then the following summer before their US Fest gig.
Triumph a couple times on the Never Surrender tour.
Those two for sure, there may have been others, or it's possible it was different tours with the other bands.Utilize. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
I love coffee and sarcasm.

Yep it should've. I copied it onto cassette back in the day with complete surround sound ,and couldn't stop playing it. Ive recently transferred it to cd and I play it in my car.
Imagine it getting the real cd treatment and having a real producer behind it. It would've been much better back in '86/'87 as a official release.

Fucking Sammy, LOL!
"In this song, i took the perspective of my ex wife, who even though i'm happy with a
brand new woman, she just can't let go...."
You almost expect him to add, "And who can blame her?"Graver, Walking Ed, refugee from CVH & proud tone chaser...

Jorge Ben Jor, a brazilian musician, had this tune called Taj Mahal with this catchy chorus (tete/tete/rete/tete/tete/rete) that reminds you of the main keyboard riff. I think he won a lawsuit...
