This song is great, but the lyrics are super misogynistic (i think on purpose, like He-man woman hater).

But he had some good tones and hooky ideas.

    Love this tune, as well...

That little "Keep on, keep on" part is so weird, but genius!

Its cool that they appear to be fans of Van Halen and everything, but I didn't like the song.

It just kind of reinforces my belief about how rare and one-in-a-billion Eddie Van Halen really is. You can play like him, play his songs, copy his techniques, and even play through his equipment. But you won't sound like him at all.

Sadly, I guess its "close enough" for for casual rock fans (the mainstream).

Well, Weezer is still gonna be Weezer.

Rivers Cuomo has an ego of his own & a lot of success, so i'm sure his homage
is slightly tongue in cheek & still based on what Weezer fans might want.

It's a tribute but don't expect a Vito Bratta type of situation.

Meh, but I never cared for Weezer anyway so there's that.
Me neither. Too light and almost whimsical for me.

It's good that this style of guitar continues. It deserves to live and expand. Rivers bringing it back to the forefront is a very good thing.

But you have to have an open mind. It might not continue with a blonde singer next to the guitar player, it might not be a band with two brothers, etc. Things change. That's life.
