    Cool

That's his Dog Russell's leash tied up hanging on the microphone. Something new & different. I'm guessing a good luck charm maybe.

Dave - keep knocking it out of the park, but lose the Matador jackets! You're not Conway Twitty in the early 70s. (Feel better now having written that...just in case Dave reads us looking for style suggestions).

Dave rules! Where is Yankee Rose in the set? lol. I have hope that he is saving Yankee Rose and other solo songs, cuz he secretly is having Vai, Bissonette, Sheehan, and Tuggle be his band for the Kiss tour lol....

Yankee Rose has never sounded good live in my opinion, even back in the 1980's.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

That song was tough for him to sing even in the studio, most likely. Much less now.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

I was at the 2nd and 3rd nights of this Vegas stint. The crowd was into both shows and having a great time. Dave has had vocal issues for awhile now. But he did about as I expected for his age now. I thought he did a way better job than i had seen on the You Tube videos of the first night. I was front row for the Saturday show. I thought he and his band put on a great show.

After that passed, all signs pointed towards a CVH reunion/anniversary with Mike.

Now, Ed & Al are out of the equation, and Dave is literally the lone face of VH.

Think about that: Eddie Van Halen is out of the equation.

That was the one scenario i never predicted.

One problem, Ed isn’t in the ground yet. Until he is, everything and anything is possible with this band. It is probably just as likely we will see a Best of Both Worlds tour happening than this being the end. VH going out Roth solo is just depressing. Maybe I’m in denial but I’m not buying it. My money is on 20 or so shows involving the 5 originals. Originals used loosely). Wolf could showcase his own music and open for them or grow a pair and do it the old fashion way. Hahahahaha The thought of wold playing bars made me laugh. But who knows.

We don’t know as much as we think we do, good or bad. And if history tells us anything, Roth knows barely more than us. This is our reality and it sucks! However, they’re all young enough to pull one more scaled down tour. And it would sell, especially if they played limited dates making it a hard ticket to buy.

Just my two cents. Lots of people here think they know a lot more than they do.

Still waiting for the one-off Van Halen show where Dave and Sam trade off songs and Mike is on bass.
Would be a cool way to celebrate and end it all.

Just had a co-worker tell me he listened to Dave in Vegas and asked me if I knew about it.

He was as embarrassed as I was.
Sammy did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
Michael did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it.
