Yeah, have to agree with you Fudd. No desire to see Kiss since I was 15. The schtick got really old fast for me and there just aren’t enough songs that hold up for me. Dave, if he’s not part of VH, I have zero desire to see him. And as I have said many times, I favor by a large margin the Roth era. His solo stuff is horrible to my ears and the VH songs out of his mouth only interest me if Ed, Al and Mike are playing.

I saw KISS on the 1996 reunion tour. Cool to see the original 4 back together.
I have no desire to see them now.

Same, saw them in 96 and that was great.

Liked the MTV Unplugged show also.

I really don't have a burning desire to see them with Paul lip syncing now, but my son wants to see them and they're coming to the local amphitheater, so that's "worth it", to me. I wasn't going to pay a ton of money to sit in nosebleeds in an arena, but the grass at the amphitheater makes me feel "less bad" about wasting money to let him see the show. And Dave opening is a plus...regardless of how I feel about how he sings now, I'd still rather see him than some nobody act.
I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -

The kid factor would be a game changer. I get that...

LOL. I've been saying this for years. Dave can sing he's just chose not to since '12. You don't go from '07 to 2012 like that. And sing on the record just fine.

The second night tells a story. It says he can do it. Unfortunately, it also says he mailed it in on the previous tours.

I was wondering where Sam was. I'm sure they'll be more interviews about how bad Dave sounds.

Exactly. Or maybe his "diaphragm was in better shape that night". LOL

The dude can sing when he wants to.

Daveís vocals in 2012 and 2015, to my ears, had nothing to do with any sort of vocal limitations. He was making vocal melody choices that he didnít make in 07.

Every time he shot his voice up high, it was a voluntary action, not something out of his control causing him to do that like an aging voice. He sounded ducking AMAZING during those acoustic sessions. Pull up YRGM and tell me
his voice isnít badass during that entire performance especially during the breakdown after the solo.

He was being Dave. Trying to shake things up. Gotta give the guy credit for not playing it safe and trying new shit with his instrument. The same way a guitar player might throw a few new licks in a solo or in between verses to see if they stick.

Sometimes you fall down the stairs and land. Other times you donít. Somebody said that once.....
