Big time Philadelphia Eagles fanatic when I was growing up.

Nice to see Harold Carmichael get in, although Mike Quick is by far my favorite Eagle WR ever. Quick and Wilbert Montgomery wouldve both been sure fire HOFers if not for injuries cutting them down. Still, both guys had several big time seasons.

That Jimbo Covert got in as a tackle from the 1980's, and Joe Jacoby, the best left tackle of the decade still not getting in blows my mind.

Jacoby was a better player than Winston Hill too.

Never a dull moment. I didn’t think the NCAA would like him handing out wade of cash to the LSU players either.

After the best regular season in franchise history, Head Coach John Harbaugh was named Coach of the Year by the Pro Football Writers Association, while Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman was named Assistant Coach of the Year.

I think its good for your resume but I also think they should wait until after the SB is played to really vote for coach of the year. Harbaugh and his guys where outcoached from top to bottom by Vrabel and Pees(former Ravens DC). He also did not have his team ready after basically a three week rest for the starters and they never got off the bus for a home game. I know players play coaches coach but if it was me I would decline the award.

The fact that Randy Gradishar got snubbed yet again is a fucking travesty.

It took Alex Karras 50 years to get in. He got suspended for gambling which probably didn't help but the guy was one of the fastest DLineman off the snap ever and he played with crappy Lions teams.

I don't know if I told this here or not but he used to come into the Rec Center I worked at to work out. I recognized him but didn't say anything because you could tell he just wanted to be able to get his workout in like a "normal" older guy and get out. We chatted a few times and he never mentioned who he was and I never mentioned that I knew who he was.

Most of the staff there had no idea who he was. They just figured he was some older guy in there that was in pretty good shape getting his workout in.

I pulled up some pictures from his playing days on the computer and showed some of the younger guys and they we're shocked he was a former Bronco and All-Pro.

I did let one "Raiders suck" slip one time and he kind of smiled like he got it that I knew who he was but that was it. He was a really nice guy and part of that was not pulling the "don't you know who I am crap" and expecting special treatment like a lot of other former athletes or celebrities do.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Who is more likely to pull off an upset today, Tennessee or Green Bay?

Not sure I’d consider a Green Bay victory an “upset”. I guess if the oddsmakers have the 49ers as favourites, then technically it would be, but as long as Rodgers is in the game I expect that team to have a decent chance to win.
