Gary's new band played a show on Tuesday night at a place called Lilli's and from what I hear, they ROCKED!

Some songs that I saw listed in today's Boston Herald that were played were a song called "Left for Dead" Wasn't that one of the titles that we heard about on the follow up to 3?

They also played "Once" during the encore.

His new band consists of :

Cherone on vocals,
Pat Badger (extreme) on bass
Leo Mellache on guitar,
Steven Ferlazzo on keyboards,
and another Extreme alum, Mike Mangini on drums.

According to the article, if you liked Extreme, then you'll like this new band.

They also don't have a record deal, yet.

Wouldn't it be funny if WB signed them and they sold more records than the long-awaited VH album (whenever we hear it)?

Thanks for the info, Eddymon!

I'm looking forward to hearing the TOJ sampler that is floating around out there. It's also cool to see someone say that "if you like Extreme, you'll like TOJ". If that was a mainstream critic that said that, then maybe they're forgiving about the whole VH3 mess and letting Gary move forward with something more his style.

I'd still love to see the much-rumored Sammy and TOJ tour set to go this fall!

I'm kinda mad, because I found a little of "Left For Dead" on winmx and it rocked! Literally, it's such a great song! I want more, though...Anyone know where to find the full song and others?

Does the Left For Dead song sound like Extreme?

It's hard for me to imagine them replacing Nuno, he was the star of Extreme IMO.

if you just wanna hear the song - you can use audiogalaxy - www.audiogalaxy.com - I found Left for dead and another one. It's pretty techno - but I really liked it - I'm gonna order the CD.

Ya know, it actually sounds more like vh3 imo. Could easily have been concocted for the follow up, but Gary put it in his suitcase.

I think that was a title on the follow up, I remember seeing it in the official site when they had a brief description of some of the new songs. But I can't find it again.
