    Default You're No Good.

Was listening to this off the remastered VHII. You know, it's pretty good, probably not my favorite cover from them but Ed's tone really comes out, me thinks. Not gonna put it on repeat but it works.

This song kicks, man! Studio or Live version, I love'm both.

Those 03 videos from the same video stuff/TV program (YNG, Bottoms Up! & Dance the Night Away) show the best band in such an special and unique moment in their career. DTNA has that 03 Stooges backstage thing and I love it!!

    Neither are you.

The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

I always loved You're No Good. The riffs, obviously Ed's blazing solo, the vocal harmonies, etc. It's one of my favorite cover tunes that VH recorded for an album. At least the ones we know and have had heard.

Agreed. I just wish those in charge had paid more attention to the editing...
I hate when the audio has the guitar player hitting chords, yet the video shows them playing licks (or vice versa).

Is YNG the first recorded tune VH did where Ed does the palm mute harmonics in the solo?

Well, it's the first one we heard.

I suppose SGMAD could have been recorded first even though it's the third track on the album.

It's a good cover, I just wish they didn't open the album with it. LUTS would have been a much better opener.

Another example of Van Halen taking a song and making it their own.
