Yay. I'll get the CD and put it in the juke box. Shit like this always sounds awesome when it comes up on shuffle between stuff like Dio and Prince.

VHND is hip to it. Now the entire world will be listening.

God forbid we could ever cut and paste anything from there.

This came across my Facebook feed yesterday. A lot of music does that I never click on. I saw the words Van Halen, so I watched it. I buy swag from Jeff, but I don't visit VHND.

I find them amusing. Worth a listen. Not sure I will revisit this album very often.

Meh. Usually the novelty of these "interpretations" wears out for me before the song ends. These are no exception. Most VH covers from other artists are just watered down versions of the original that try too hard to be 'different.'

But Sam Black Church doing "Romeo Delight" ... I've always liked that one turned up to '11'.

Sings like a bird. Rocks like a pig.

    Well that was....interesting.

Just shows you the reach of Classic Van Halen. Two polar opposite interpretations.

The band is its own genre.

I liked Unchained and Eruption...the Jump cover, had to turn that off.
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

Jump is the only dud to me.

Panama, Jamie’s Cryin’, and Unchained are bops. Really dig them.

OMG I LOVE this one. One of my favorite singers covered one of my favorite songs of all time. And made it REALLY unique and cool. I'm happy.
