    Because it was a strat as thick as a les Paul. Eventually became the Rasta if memory serves me correct.

    So Ed called it that? I don't ever remember him calling it that in anything I've read. Not questioning you guys, just surprised I've never heard it.

    Actually, I made that up, since it's thick and made out of MaHogany.
    I got tired of calling it "the thick unfinished Mahogany body guitar".
    At one time, I thought it went on to became the Rude, after a slight waist slimming, but now I'm not so sure.
    I haven't been able to find a picture of the Hog, showing a strange angle on the jack plate, like the Rude has.

    Circles became the rasta, Rude was jus the Rude. Yeah?

    I know on my Rasta Wolfgang we kinda faked a circles paintjob, without completely finishing it, only the parts that showed.

    I never actually thought to do the circles and then paint the rasta over it. What’s funny is I have built both guitars. I have the before and after.

    I think this is the Hog body, as seen in the WACF studio pics, and the "pick ax session";

    Notice the angle of the jack.

    Here's the Rude;

    Notice it's jack angle, just slightly different.

    Yes, they were both thicker than normal,
    but I think there are significant differences in the body shapes of the two.
    The Hog was more regular strat shape than the Rude.
    The Rude was more pudgy.
    These are the reasons why I changed my old thought that the Hog became the Rude.

    I think we're hearing the Hog on WACF, but it could have been the Bee, I don't think we'll ever know.
    Heck, the only trem I hear on WACF is EWS, Fools overdubs, and Tora!

    It's most likely that Edward loved the Bee, especially live, but not so much recorded.
    I agree with the idea that he said he didn't like the Bee, because of animosity with Grover.

    After closer scrutinization, I believe that is not the Hog in the above post.
    I shall elaborate in a Bare Naked Guitars thread, since I've been intrigued by this for a long, long time

    I was trolling around a local guitar store, & got to chatting with the manager about guitars etc, as I was shopping for another Wolfgang. We got to taking about EVH, and he said "We have a cool EVH guitar in the back." Deals with another customer, then heads to the back. Came out with this!

    Pretty cool! Don't think I'm throwing down on this one lol, but it's made me reconsider a Striped Series Bumblebee at some point anyways
