    Here are my decisions, collectively.

    Outta Love Again
    Poundcake (tough choice--love the harmonics)
Top Jimmy (one of the most underrated and underappreciated VH songs)
    On Fire
    Push Comes to Shove
Cabo Wabo (one of the most unique songs in the catalog)
    The Full Bug
    Runaround

Somebody Get Me A Doctor of Light Up The Sky?

My II favorites from VH II. For years it was SGMAD, but now it's LUTS.

Okay, let's kick it up a notch.

Romeo Delight or In A Simple Rhyme?

Two of my all-time top 10 VH tunes. Romeo blazes like a bat out of hell, but I have to go with IASR. Rumor has it that IASR originally had a much longer acoustic intro, but Dave told Eddie he was "trying to pull a Zeppelin". Shame …

Romeo is my #2 all time song while Rhyme is "only" #4, so gotta go with Romeo.

LUTS and SGMAD are also my top 2 on II. LUTS by a hair.

You have excellent taste when it comes to Van Halen.

The Seventh Seal vs Take Me Back (Deja vu)?

I have to go with The Seventh Seal. Take Me Back starts off pretty promising, but I just don't like the chorus..

I wouldn't say I love it, but I definitely prefer it to Take Me Back (Deja vu).

The Seventh Seal has very good lyrics. The negative is that it sounds very similar musically to Poundcake.

I have to go with OLA. Stellar drums from Al, Mike groovin' on the boom stick, killer axe work from Ed and Dave bringin' it with those high pitched screams.
At the moment, Outta Love Again just for the "didn't you"s.

(I just realized, I'm really far behind in answering these match ups)

Mean Street or Hear About It Later?

A true battle of titans. I friggin' love Mean Street, but Hear About It Later is Van Halen's most majestic song. That intro, those verses, the chorus, the breakdown, the solo, the awesome buildup to the killer ending. Those guys were pretty good …

The Mean Street intro is IMO Edward's greatest musical invention... coolest guitar part ever
