When I first heard Without You (a decade after it had been released) I thought VH must have been going for a 90s alternative rock sound. It was years later while listening to it that I realized that they were going for a more easy going/rock n roll number. The production on that album is possibly the worst I've ever heard.

Marcin is going to need an extra box of Vagisil if you do that.

Then, maybe my English is not too fluent, but I believe that "There's a difference between saying VH3 is "not the best" and "it sucks". Then, there is a difference between "it sucks" and "it's a coaster" equals not the best<it sucks< it's a coaster.

Again, maybe Americans are more thick-skinned, but saiyng that the album of your favorite (?) band is a coaster is a little... disrespectful? I mean you prefer Uptown Girl by Billy Joel or that recent Van Buuren and DLR Jump remix than Without You by Van Halen?

Dude, come on.... It's been nice around here lately without everybody arguing all the time. Everyone has different opinions.
Honestly, I fucking love III. Most people hate it. Who cares. Arguing over stupid shit on the internet with people you will never meet in your life is a waste of time and energy. Just relax bro.... And I also like Uptown Girl from Billy Joel. Along with Suicide Note Part II from Pantera. It's all music. Everybody is entitled to like whatever the hell they want. Just go with it man...

Hey, its me who keeps saying that music is a subjective experience. Like I said in most cases there is more that unites us than divides us. It is OK and I am trying to turn it all into joke. But a coaster?

There are times that both may have been true but would not say either of those statements is true today. But also not sure why it would matter. If your listening enjoyment is connected to looks perhaps following a band near 70 is setting yourself up for disappointment. Maybe

I'm sure Ed is fine with III being used as a coaster as long as Brooklyn paid the $12 or whatever for it in 98. It's all good man.

Exactly. And I'm 99% sure Mike Anthony, Alex, Edward, and Dave had all had some hair work done over the years. Stallone has a more solid hair line in his 70s than he did in his 30s. Who cares...

To be fair, VH3 is indeed little more than a coaster.

To be fairer, not much VH has dropped since HB and MWM has warranted much use other than drink ware accessories.

They are ALL coasters to me at this point. As I don't even own a CD player anymore. I listen to everything on Spotify or Amazon Prime.

No it is not It was a quote by Dave's Dreidel I believe. These jokes used to be cool on vhlinks: Dave is bald/gay, Sam is fat, Gary fingered his own ass, "(Ed) looks happy and healthy", "(Mike) is a class act", "Cubic Zirconia", "Sauce Sobolewski", Wolf is(looks) hungry, and other assorted catchy references/phrases...

And it turns out that Al is the guy who everyone likes...

Actually, I dunno that the 'Dave is bald/gay Sam is fat Sauce Sobolewski Wolf is hungry' cracks were ever cool.

However, the 'Cubic Zirconia' bit was funny, though that was perpetuated by Eddie.

The 'Eddie is happy and healthy' was super clown tits from weird crushing fanboys, granted.

I dunno that 'Mike is a class act' was ever a joke.

And I guess you missed all the 'Don't meet Al in a back alley' or 'Al's alimony' jokes.

And Gary fingering his ass...well, heck, man, that writes itself.
