Of the three signature striped Eddie axes, my favorite remains the bumblebee. Like Dimebag said, that fucker just looked tough.

Helluva thing, burying that icon with Dimebag. An impressive gesture from Eddie.

I honestly don't remember much about the gig...I should look up the setlist, but if memory serves Dave dished powerful versions of MS and LG....but I think the highlight of the show, for me, was STIL, it's the track that I seem to recall most vividly. I do love STIL. It does not get a lotta love around here, I've never understood why. It's absolutely one of my fave tracks on 'Warning, I like it better than many, including Unchained. Al and Ed are shredding on that tune. Only HAIL, MS, and PCTS top STIL for me in terms of Warning tracks...and I love DM, I do. But STIL just kicks ass. It's one of my favorite Dave vocal outings in the entire catalogue. He sounds so fuckin' garbage can nasty on STIL. And Eddie and Mike's chorus kills.

Anyway...I didn't take many photos at that gig at all except this one, apparently...just found the sucker hidden deep in my archives, figured I'd post it here among the rest of my VH4 pix.

That's a great shot. Looks like he may have just flipped a pick out to the crowd.

STIL has always been one of my favs from Warning. Dave does indeed shine on it.

I caught the first show after the break. Mid January '08.

I remember thinking Mikey was going to be there when the curtain dropped. Started with Edward noodling on the side of that "box" dealio. Gauze on his hand.
