HFT is great, but ATBL is arguably the greatest electric guitar riff of all time.
The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Out of these choices, its Women in Love. The intro a complete composition. Its like you're getting two songs for the price of one.

Hmmm, you forgot to include two of their best, HAIL and EWS. That said, Unchained is greater than ATBL. But from this list, the answer is pretty clear and easy. HFT for the win.

Yeah, I probably should have included EWS instead of RD for WACF. MS, HAIL and Unchained are all worthy entrants from FW.

Just think about that. Which one is better for use as custom ringtone: ATBL or HTF? ATBL, hands down, no contest! Why is that? HTF (just like AFU, with tapped harmonics intro similar to the one in Women in Love) starts with a drum intro. Meh.

    Mean Street > Unchained.

All great intros - EVH was the king of the intro! Impossible to choose, but I agree with JD's assessment earlier...if Me Wise Magic had been on the list, I would have selected it. Great intro, but also because it's the enigma of the VH catalog. The circumstances behind the recording and Dave drama aftermath relegated it to a relatively hidden song, but it's truly awesome. And would have sounded great live - isn't that right, low-register-Dave?
