I'd never heard Corey Taylor before. (Yes, I probably do live under a rock) Sounds like a great stand-in for Dave.

It's awesome seeing Kevin Dugan doing what he does best as well- Keeping Mike's thunder alive!

Can't stand Slipknot but Corey nails this.

My son showed me a couple of his videos. I had no idea he was in Slipknot. If you can get past that(like I did), he's talented.

He does covers of different songs from different genres of music in his solo gigs. Whether you like a particular song he covers, he's legit in the effort he gives them, although he does have fun with some of them

Those videos were great. I really with they would have played the full version of House of Pain.

Yeah, Corey Taylor is a good singer.

    Wow that looked awesome

Corey Taylor is excellent...and I’m a fan of Slipnot as well...nothing pumped me up more before my soccer games in college like “wait and bleed” great tune...I can get why not everyone would get into them but I always loved their stuff
Check out his band Stone Sour totally different style much more chill saw them open for Ozzy this past sept excellent show they held their own against the Ozman

John 5 is the man...he’s a great player and always shows respect to the legends that came before him...saw him this past summer too with Rob Zombie and his old band Manson ...freaking fantastic

Man Shavo Odadjian from System of A Down was there too and some dude from Cinderella? On drums I guess...anyway looked like pretty epic intimate show

John 5 often plays rock medleys.

This is a more recent one. They are really good:

Well, there is Van Halen's fourth singer. He could so handle that gig.

I don't know where the guy's head is at (Lead Singer Disease), but as far as his ability to sing, he's really gifted, and he did a great job handling Halen.

Yeah, I've seen and heard a couple of interviews with him (and he was on That Metal Show once or twice) and he comes across as very chill and down to earth. I do NOT "get" his stage outfit or persona, but many talented people are weird that way...
