    Shocker..... Old (born 1964) Redneck from Louisiana doesn't care about Launch angle or analytics.....lol.... Back when Will was growing up in the 70s and he was out catchin crawfish, there was probably not much Baseball analytics talk.

    He didn't know about launch angle in 1987 because it was not available. BUT, if you look at his swing..... dude was just a natural at hitting baseballs, he was a little unorthodox in some areas. Some swing flaws for sure. Incredible talent. If Will played in 2019 with current teaching, you can bet he would have averaged more than high teens to 20 HRs a season. His high was 35 during the juiced ball year in 87.

    ++++

    On a side note..... Growing up in NORCAL. Will Clark was my favorite player from 86 to 1993.

    If Modern stats and analytics were in use back in 1989..... Will would have had a MVP. Finish 2nd to Kevin Mitchell.

    He was a professional hitter. I think I remember him being intentionally walked once and one pitch got a little close to the plate and he whacked it into left
    Dealing with it.
