I remember Murray making 2 mil and people were like holy shit.lol. My Cubs couldn't get Greg Maddux resigned over peanuts, can't even imagine what he'd be worth today..those guys have to just shake their heads when they see these contracts

Probably bought my last cap tonight. $38. now (I did get 25% off at the MLB shoppe, though), and they’ve got the new era logo on the side which I hate. But I couldn’t let the Marlins’ prior cap be my last one! So a little late, but in a few days i’ll Have a new cap, my second new shirt and my new Tervis. Start the season!

I guess I get that for series starting in the the north, but Cubs at Rangers..don't think it's ever snowed in Dallas in late March. Which is my other gripe, interleague play needs to go away and maybe come around every 4 years, there's nothing compelling about most of the matchups

yeah, the Rangers game was the only outlier I saw out of the teams that were off Friday night. But they shouldn't be playing the Cubs in the regular season anyway!

I'm such a dick. My nephew's wife is a New York fan (even though she was born and raised in New Hampster) in a house of Boston fans, and we were playing cards and I took a brief moment to check the scores and saw they were losing 5-1 in the 9th, so I thought she would appreciate hearing some of her team's game. Of course, it was Baltimore so it could've turned out badly for me, but fortunately the Birds were able to close 'em out.

The great thing about being a Yankees fan is that we can just say 27, and counting.

    LOL

    I was born in 1971 so it's a little less than 27.
