Yes, outside of VH and HSAS, Montrose is better than anything else Sam has done.

But, man, I really wish they would re-mix that album.

So water to wine but can't get a remix for fans of this album? Wtf, your game is slipping as you age and I'm not even gonna adress world hunger.

5150 by a mile. Definitely my favorite Sammy VH record. CF debut is a better debate for me.

I really need to give the CF debut another listen.

I listen to CF3 all the time. I’ve always preferred that album.

    Love that album.

I would have much preferred a new CF album to The Circle. VJ is just a meh guitarist to me, which is why I checked out on them.

5150, hands down. Sammy's voice over Eddie's music? Killer!!!
Such an inspiration to me in my formative years, and still an important 'statement' album in rock history IMO.

    Guilty.

Have never seen one second of Game of Thrones either.

Yeah those are killer tracks that I know well. Still loving CF3 though.

As for Vic, he’s great except at playing Eddie. Which on album he’s not trying to do. But yeah Satch is a beast by comparison. Even though I feel like Satch plays to the song in CF versus shredding all over the place.
