    Mikey would be 95.

Possibility for Gary. He's in great shape for almost 60 and I know plenty Italians from Boston who are well into their 90s.

The rest....that's kinda pushing it. No amount of money reverses father time, regardless of what Joan Rivers' face looks like.

I imagine Joan Rivers' face looks fairly bad since she's been dead since 9/4/14.

Trunk shot his mouth off, too fast and too often, but Van Halen didn't contact Mike without an idea in mind.

Van Halen has postponed the tour yet again, not that I care (unless they bring new music to the table).

Im halfway through writing/recording/producing an EP of original stuff and I'm nobody. I am TERRIFIED of publishing it. Cant imagine how intimidating it would be if your last name was Van Halen.

Remember he's an as of yet unproven solo artist, so I'm guessing marketers will see if there is even market for whatever he's recorded (rock isn't currently a top seller) to see if its worth the time and effort.

If they move forward, they would have to devise a marketing plan to reach that whatever market they target, for the maximum effect.

(Marketing Wolf's album in conjunction with new Van Halen product, tour or event would certainly be a no-brainer, but perhaps VH doesn't have its act together.)

Merely having a finished product is certainly just a first step.

Established legendary artists already feeling the pinch from diminishing record sales mainly due to the internet & closures of most record music stores can justify the time, effort, & expense recording & releasing new material albums from touring & merchandise revenue.

I'm guessing WVH's album project is quite unique since evidently he's performing most if not all instruments. Very ambitious & unprecedented for the most part.

He can't just simply put it out on some rinky dink indie label with limited distribution & promotional backing. What's the point. The idea of just putting it out on the net for free is ludicrous. There's a very real risk of it being dead & buried within a month. Sure some fans will listen & send an internet comment saying they like it but whoop-de-doo. Ultimately it means nothing.

Ideally- well placed product placement in a big budget blockbuster movie could be the best avenue for promotion & immediate worldwide exposure. Or put a tune into a tv show.

Can't count on radio or mtv anymore. Have to think outside the box and think big.

His pops last name is undoubtabley a dynamite valuable asset but realistically in this day & age in music most likely not enough but obviously a pretty good foot in the door headstart.

Look at some of the other sons of famous artists. John Lennon, Ozzy Osbourne, Neil Young, etc, etc,....

I can immediately think of ONE quickly off the top of my head.

    Jacob Dylan.

That second Wallflowers album was sensational. Music fans didn't buy & enjoy it simply because he is Bob Dylan's son. The material is always most important.

It's fine if he's afraid. It's good to have the fear when you're an artist. Makes you hungry. And the hunger is what drives you to sweat through it.

That kid, presuming he actually wants a long term career in music...and that's a big presumption, maybe he just wants to drop a vanity project, then take over Dad's gear line when he retires, and live a comfortable trust fund inheritance kind of life...presuming he really wanted or still wants a solo career in the industry with a fanbase....should've been gigging live year round since whenever he grew proficient at his instrument of choice. Heck, if he'd started in 2012 and hopped on the VH publicity train, at the least with demo CDs at the merch kiosks during the tour, he'd have seven years of clubbing under his belt and a shitload more notoriety, not to mention at least a small millennial fanbase at worst, perhaps a much larger fanbase at best depending on whatever the fuck it is he's created.
