Default Mr Crowley vs Mr Crowley - winner?

Which titan's cover of Mr Crowley do you prefer?

Solo 1 - Lynch or Malmsteen?
Solo 2 - Lynch or Malmsteen?

For me it's YJM both times. George's are nice enough and I get what he's doing, melodically, but by the outro he's milked that idea to death and it sounds less like he's making a creative choice and more like he doesn't know what else to play.

Yngwie on the other hand isn't so restricted and though it's a shock to the ear at first - so iconic are Randy's solos - they are melodic and stand on their own.
Oh and Ripper just kills it. What a voice. Rob Halford circa 1988.

    I love them both, tbh.
Always dug the melodies that Lyncb came out with, as well as the modern tone/pinch harmonics etc.

Yngwie flat out shredded those solos with his usual fire and tone. Not a huge 'Ripper' Owens fan, yet dig both of those covers.

    I chose option 3, Jake....

    1st solo at 1:57
    2nd solo at 3:38

Love Yngwie and Lynch, but they just don't translate well on a lot of covers like Jake does...

Yngwie is 2nd place, Lynch sounded sorta lost and unsure of what he wanted to play...

In either case: EVH, Yngwie, Jake, Lynch are my top 4 fav guys...

None of them can play anything that doesn't sound beautiful to my ears...

Jake's version of Mr. Crowley from 'The Ultimate Ozzy' tape is a milestone for me. Utterly fantastic IMO. Blazing, yet melodic. Respectful of Randy's memorable parts, yet putting his own spin on certain licks. Via the Internet, many years later, I've seen and heard other Jake performances that are wicked as well, yet that 1986 VH's tape got worn out by me!
