Both a little. Not bad, but it's enough to bug me. I didn't know if rubbing the tape with a putty knife or something might help or any other odd techniques?

    Default 5150 build neck question

I would suggest using an X-Acto knife to try to fix the bleed but be very careful that you donít scrape the paint.

Iíll usually burnish the edges down just to make sure there is no bleed. But I only use the fine line tape.

Agreed here. When I did my Frankenstein 10 years ago, I recall some bleed issues with the blue tape. I seem to recall getting some stuff from a local bodyshop supplies store that worked much better

If you spray a light coat of whatever you taped over after taping it helps stop bleeding.

So the bleed kept bugging me and I ended up sanding it down and starting over. This time I was much more patient and did several light coats (waiting 15 minutes between coats) and sprayed directly in front of the head (no angle) and had no bleed. Thanks for the advice, guys!
