Could you imagine a DVD of Greensboro 81?

It should come with a can of Lysol.

LMAO. Man, truly the greatest live band ever during that 3-4 year stretch. Untouchable in musicianship and showmanship.

At this point I'll take anything. Laser Disc, Betamax....

If they wanna release audio on the new Oreo cookie technology I'll take that too.

Ditto on LWAN - to me, the ultimate live recording. Along with the VHS copy I had from the Toronto PPV. NO IDEA why they've never done a release/album off either one. They can say what they want about Dave era live stuff and what they do/don't have, but they can't deny they have those two...

I've raised my hand on here about being a big Styx fan. I loved Caught in the Act back when they released it. They are so damn talented and sound so good live. They've done - maybe overdone - a bunch of live stuff over the past 15 +/- years. Loved their Grand Illusion/Pieces of Eight live as well. No idea how touched up any of it is, but I've seen them enough over the past 20 years to think not much, that's what they sound like.

I was bigger on live stuff when I was much younger and not able to go to concerts. Now I'd rather have the studio album to listen to and just go see them (whoever they are) if I want live.

I love live albums. I don't want to reiterate all the ones previously listed, but the Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Rush, Queen, WHO, UFO, Foghat live albums are all albums I've listened to a lot. The one I don't think I've seen listed that I think is their best overall album is Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous. There's been a lot of debate over the years about how much of it is actually live (Scott Gorham says there were very few overdubs) but a great album nonetheless.
