I believe Jeff passed from Cancer.

Poor guy was not only blind, but then he dies young from Cancer.

Having said that, i will never forgive him for "Angel Eyes."

Cancer took his eyesight as a toddler. Jeff then suffered from recurring bouts with the big C later on, and ultimately succumbed to the disease.

Great musician! His live stuff far outshines the studio work, as he was also a good showman at times and had endless guitar lines that seemed to go on and on. Wicked blues/rock feel and attack, and believe it or not, I put his vibrato up there with Yngwie's... Those screaming high B and E string overbends that just give you goosebumps...

Oh yeah... I also forgot about Speak of the Devil, by Ozzy w/Brad Gillis on guitar. We used to listen to that back in the high school days. Loved the soloing on N.I.B.

    Maiden - Live After Death

DLR - In Search of Paradise Lost (bootleg) - has an acoustic set in it, love it just for that

But I am with others on here, live albums ain't my thing
If I don't respond to you it means I have you on ignore, which means you are a douchenozzle.

Emperor Brett - "I can't believe you guys are analyzing song-by-song Van Halen III? What next, analyzing the script of Stroker Ace looking for some shred of Citizen Kane?"

David Lee Roth did the impossible. He made Van Halen better. Deal with it!

OH! When you said "fallen hero," I thought there was a Bill Cosby story I hadn't heard. I thought he was awesome and wondered whatever happened to him.

I've always been intrigued by Gary Moore, I love his version of Shape of Things but never really listened to much aside from that, the live Gary Moore record you listed here is a beast, I'm listening to it right now (from Youtube), he's just tearing it up.

    thanks for listing it.

I am like others where I am not big on live albums. I will say that I have listened to Tribute more than any other live album so I guess its my favorite.

I know I'm s sammy hagar slappy but he has 2 very good live albums from his Capitol records days-All Night Long and Live 1980. Bad Motor Scooter from All Night Long is really, really cool:

lots of energy on both of these
