You could also make the argument for Beats Workin', Big River (Big Trouble) & Outta Space as they haven't been performed since officially being released.

Did I miss any? If so, post 'em.

And I think it's a damn crime that Baluchitherium & Respect The Wind were never played live. Either could've been played during any tour since reuniting with Roth, given him a vocal break for 6 or 7 minutes & satisfied any Sammy fans in the crowd.
If you're only counting '78-on, you left off "Fools." They played the intro to it in '79-'80 but never the song (and if you're not, you can nix "Bullethead" then because they played that live in the club days.

Dave did "CTBM" live on his radio show if you want to count that...and Mike did 10 seconds of it during his '82 solo.

"Push" was rumored to have been played in '81, but I'm sure it's obviously bullshit.

"Top Jimmy" needs to be played live! Still can't believe it took DDL that long since everyone loves it and it's a great live song.

Technically you could add "Donut City."

"Feels So Good" is surprising being a single and all.

"Strung Out"'s an impossibility unless he takes a grand piano apart that exact same way or close to it on stage. You could argue "Doin' Time" was part of Alex's solo '93-'95 and maybe even '98, not note-for-note but similar enough.

    MWM '19!

Gary's band Tribe Of Judah played "Once" for what it's worth (and a much better, harder version at that where it kicked in during the chorus like it should have on the record).

BOTB, As Is, HBSD, and Outta Space were all apparently soundchecked (AI for sure, plus the NAMM snippet).

You could included "Rise" and "Catherine," again technically.

Someone mentioned YAYB unplugged, but "Big Trouble" and "Put Out the Lights" were not necessarily ever played live in the club days as there are no known recordings other than the demos.

"Stay Frosty" was played a couple/few times on the most recent tour where Dave read the lyrics and played the riff for a minute or so.

So, if you're counting songs being played on stage, properly, by the band themselves, including the club days:

    As Is
    Ballot or the Bullet
    Baluchitherium
    Beats Workin'
Big Bad Bill (Is Sweet William Now)
    Big River

    Again, more a studio experiment.

They'd have to morph into Reggae/Disco bass mode, and probably lose the audience
    in the process.

How do you transition between Panama & Push?

I'd love to hear them try, moreso back then.
But i can't see the audience getting into it.
Completely disagree. I could easily see them jamming this as a change of pace tune, similar to how they have been playing Women In Love the last two tours.

When did they play "Secrets?" I'd love to hear that live.

Baluch and RTW would never be played. RTW isn't really a Sammy song. It's an Alex side project lol. Same with Baluch - Eddie.

In any case, if you take out the III and ADKOT and instrumental tracks that you listed, you're really left with the true VH diehard wish list...

I believe it is still uncorroborated or confirmed that FSG may have been played on the short OU812 tour post MOR in '88.

In any case, of those old school tracks left, of course the main gimme's are PCTS, Top Jimmy, and MWM.

If they tour again as VH4, they should work up a brass tacks cut down raw 4 piece version of MWM and play the fucker live at last. Assuming Ed can still tune it in the same vein as '96.

"Women in love" is not a radical departure, though.

It's a mid paced Pop rocker that builds with the chorus.

"Push" has the disco ball bass, the intimate reggae chord stabs, Dave kinda whispering
some of the lines & the solo, as brilliant as it is, does not lend itself to the "off the cuff"
    improv of a live set.

It's been rumored. The running theories tend to be that it was played a couple times in Japan or Honolulu on that tour. Doesn't seem to be any footage or audio corroborating it, but there's eyewitness testimony.

I would love to see or hear footage of FSG being played live, and am genuinely curious to look for 'Once' being played by Cherone, in Tribe of Judah.

I've never seen or heard that band, as far as I can recall right now. Maybe one snippet of a song back in the day, and that is no disrespect to Gary. I liked III, yet it's the same as how I don't rabidly follow Sam's solo stuff.

It's kinda weird you haven't listened to any Chickenfoot. CF1 really is his best stuff along with 5150, OU812, and Balance.

You forgot FUCK... I'm a big fan of that album as a whole, and Sam's contributions to it.

Post VH? Of course I've heard some stuff along the way. Mas Tequila, Bigfoot, My Kinda Girl, etc. Just not full albums. The only Sammy solo cd I own is Unboxed, which is a compilation.

I didn't forget FUCK. FUCK is a piece of shit album barely worth the vinyl it's pressed on.

I strongly recommend giving CF1 a full spin. Seriously, it outperforms most stuff on Balance, half the stuff on 5150. OU812 still might be his masterpiece, though.

Disagree about FUCK, and that's ok. No need to go tit for tat on it.

CF? Will do, yet not tonight. Morning shift at work...

And I still completely disagree. The vocals would be right in Dave's wheelhouse and that solo section is absolutely made to be played live as an extended jam. And the intro could also be extended live, with Dave holding court rapping with the audience.

I just dont see it as being a difficult one to pull off live, right down to those sweet flanger parts by Ed.
