    My take on the classic!

The only genre I really know is Van Halen.

Looks like you had fun doing that, which is (IMO) more important than nailing the notes verbatim. Nice job. Some ideas I probably wouldn't have come up with.

"There's too many people on this basketball that's floating around the sun, who are too afraid to allow themselves to FEEL" - Edward Van Halen
"Van Halen was never about the singer..." - A very wise fan.
"Embrace the past. Live in the moment but keep your eyes on the future, and keep on moving forward..." - Richie Sambora

Yeah, that one I pretty much make up as I go. I'll keep the same structure but that's about it.

TBH I tried to learn it "correctly" and figured out pretty quick that that wasnt going to happen. So I just try to play something that sounds decent and passable.

Honestly I have fun every time I play because I'm still amazed that I can make a musical note come out of that thing. There's a lot of guys on here and on YouTube that are better than me, but I can guarantee you I get just as much joy as anyone from playing and I'm satisfied with the level of competency that I've reached on the instrument because my original goal was just to be able to play a few riffs here and there.

I don't have a musical bone in my body! I'm talking about any knack or gift for playing.
I just knew that I wanted to play, thanks to Jake E. Lee & Eddie!, and stuck with it. Certain things got easier after countless hrs in the bedroom or the garage. It was never handed to me, yet it was always fun to hear what was coming out of the speakers!

    Kudos to you as well.

Marvel should hire you to play a younger version of Tony Stark when needed.
