There's no room on the freeway
That's where we drove your car
There's no seats at the movies
That's where we watched the stars
There's a guy at this party with hair just like you, oooh
There's no room at this party
    Where should I move

    Maybe New York
    Or somewhere up the coast
    London or Paris
    Nah I hate the cold
Seems to be everywhere I wanna go
Is still too close to you

I hope there's a liquor store waiting on Mars
With cheap cigarettes you can light with the stars
Cause that's how far I'll have to go
To see you and not say hello

    Nothing good on the airwaves
    Just all our favourite songs
No more space on this planet
There's a girl at this party that kissed me like you, oooh
Get me out of this party
    I've gotta move

    Maybe New York
    Or somewhere up the coast
    London or Paris
    Nah I hate the cold
Seems to be everywhere I wanna go
Is still too close to you

I hope there's a liquor store waiting on Mars
With cheap cigarettes you can light with the stars
Cause that's how far I'll have to go
To see you and not say hello

I hope there's a liquor store waiting on Mars
With Cherry Ice Cola to cool down my heart
Cause that's how far I'll have to go
To see you and not say hello
    And get myself over you

Rock music isn't dead, but it's barely hanging on.

This is true in at least two senses.

Though popular music sales in general have plummeted since their peak around the turn of the millennium, certain genres continue to generate commercial excitement: pop, rap, hip-hop, country. But rock ó amplified and often distorted electric guitars, bass, drums, melodic if frequently abrasive lead vocals, with songs usually penned exclusively by the members of the band ó barely registers on the charts. There are still important rock musicians making music in a range of styles ó Canada's Big Wreck excels at sophisticated progressive hard rock, for example, while the more subdued American band Dawes artfully expands on the soulful songwriting that thrived in California during the 1970s. But these groups often toil in relative obscurity, selling a few thousand records at a time, performing to modest-sized crowds in clubs and theaters....

Big Wreck is, in my opinion, the most underrated band on the planet. Itís almost criminal how unrecognized those guys are.

    This is crazy:

While the average rock musician is lucky to make $30,000 a year in 2019...

These YouTube "Lost in Vegas" reaction video dudes have made approx $312,000.00 in just 2.5 years by just listening to old rock songs and commenting (They have 156,000,000 views at approx $2,000 per million).

Much bigger up here (pretty sure the singer is Canadian band). They're pretty good. I think this is probably their biggest "hit"
