I'd go with The Crowes "Southern Harmony" album.

Same here...love the entire album. Standout track for me is Peacemaker Die. Nuno's work on that track is just epic and masterful in my opinion. The solo is great and the instances of the multi layer guitar parts within the solo is absolutely spot on! Tragic Comic, Seven Sundays, and Who Cares are my other favorites overall.

    "Peacemaker" was absolutely ferocious.

And i used to play "Rise n shine" on the acoustic, my go-to!
Who was Daniel, in that song?
    They say, Dream, Daniel, dream...

I just love that sort of dry, direct sound of the album.
Nuno sounds a bit less distorted, less 'verb.

When he hits those ultra fast open string mutes, it's not masked by anything.

God, i even love the single, Rest in Peace.

I just loved Tesla's Psychotic Supper. I really cut my teeth learning to play guitar to that whole album, then it was on to Van Halen 1. There was just something cool, raw, and diverse about Psychotic Supper. I got into them from Love Song, and really liked Five Man Acoustical Jam. Psychotic Supper was them at their drugged out best.

Hands down one of the best shows I’ve ever been too...from the opening cords and the lights of No Speak, No Slave to the encore.

In my mind both of these albums (Southern Harmony & Amorica) are like Rubber Soul & Revolver. A perfectly paired binary album...hope that makes better sense.

I love Chris' voice so much, it's so frustrating he refuses to join both Rich & Mark.
Those guys are still coming up with great stuff, they just need Chris back to sell it.

I revisited the first Crowes album yesterday, still so good:

    I love this song …

"It's so lonely at the top because it's so crowded at the bottom" - Diamond David Lee Roth

"Political correctness is fascism pretending to be manners" - George Carlin

"Women and Children First ... The REAL Van Halen III"

I do like "Amorica," but it started to go from the Stones to the Dead, in a strange way.
There was a small shift in the formula.

I think "Southern Harmony" was so stellar, it was damn near impossible to follow it.

It's a reference to the biblical character, Daniel, who was known to interpret dreams and see future events.

I would have to go with 5150 TBH. I listened to that record every day from the day I bought it until the day OU812 came out. I listen to something from it all the time (a bootleg recording, an interview, a random song). I still love it. It came out at a great time in my life, right when I was really getting into hard rock and that was one of the first hard rock records I really, really got into.
