If you don't know the difference, you don't know the industry.

Opening on a bigger tour will not get him the sweat blood and tears exposure he needs to make it on his own.

If he tours, I hope Jason Bonham is somehow his drummer for at least a few shows. Just for the "Sons of Legends" aspect.

His Dad, and especially Dave knew how to make it in the business as does Azoff, if Iím Wolf, Iíll be listening to those guys on how to roll this out and support it

Bands and singers donít need the dirt and sawdust joints to make it now, they need exposure, that said, those clubs could be a good way of getting that exposure for Rock music that hip hop and rap canít play in

Of course on the other hand if VH releases a new album and packages the two together as a double release well that would be exposure too

But I actually agree with the mentality of him hitting the clubs itís good exposure and itís respect, being the child of EVH, heíll need to earn the respect to make it

I think context is needed... when he was 16, he wasn't as good as Mike. When he was 25 - he probably was equal to where Mike was (bass playing) to when Mike was 25. You can't compare someone with 35 years of experience to someone with 10 years - regardless of the genes.

Vocals? No contest. That's one of Mikes god given talents.

This is simply inaccurate. It's a 1970/1980 music model. He doesn't need to tour 250 seat clubs and grind his way up. Yes, that used to be the only way to do it, but there are so many different ways to get your name out and different revenue streams that it is no longer necessary to be a touring professional musician. Hell, I do tax returns for several musicians with long discography's that only play local gigs because they don't want to tour and be on the road.

He doesn't need to do any of it, he will only do it if he wants to. My guess is that may be one of the reasons he is no longer part of Tremonti, that going out on the road for months on end playing clubs was not his idea of a good time.

I prefer Mike's playing and his tone, but Wolf is a great bass player. I wish Mike was in VH too, but people are kidding themselves if they don't think he can lay down the thump. (not you specifically).

I would guess he would take his tour thru all the House of Blues venues.
They seem to have good promotion just within their own advertising..

    Very possible.

However, I think he can have his vanity projects, and every few years go out on the road with VH and pocket seven figures. Then, later in life, manage all the unreleased VH shit and make money off of that.

He might decide to go out on the road playing clubs, and if does, good for him, but I doubt it.

He could do the winery circuit maybe a ribfest or chilly cookoff.

Honestly who cares about this album?

Are VH fans so desperate for anything that they are anxiously awaiting a solo album from Wolf?

Put me in the couldn’t care less group. There’s way too many other acts more deserving of our time. This album will come and go like a fart in the wind.
